Hailing from the land of cheap ass beef.

At $20/kg for chilled ribeye steaks, whats not to love. I have no pictures though. Currently, those steaks are in the fridge. Salted and peppered. For tomorrow's dinnner.

And tomorrow is Queen Victoria Market day. Which is a good thing. Cheap cherries, cute duckies and generally good fruits.

We also realised that, since we finished a tub of yoghurt in about 3 days, its better to get those near expiry and discounted. For example, the usual price of SKI yoghurt, is 4.99. Those near expiry go for $3. So, i'm learning to count my pennies. Since i'm supposed to be a broke student.

I've been really busy to date. Reveille at 8 every single day, working harder than my entire stint at Mandai Hill Camp. Carrying rocks, clearing trash, clearing more trash, and leaves, and more leaves, and even more leaves.

We have an ancient Oak tree on the front lawn. Its supposedly planted by some queen. Therefore, it cannot be cut down. This oak, is a leaf machine. Its winter now and its leaves have not been shed totally yet. Still dropping daily.

And our garbage is collected once a week.

Thats my post today. I'm not dead, not dead.
