A demon is coming to Melbourne soon. In December, the miserly demon has lost it's job and is coming back to Melbourne to terrorise poor Charlotte. Charlotte wants to move out, because the demon will definitely ask her for rent, and ask me for rent. The demon's husband would be powerless against her. And the best part is, he asked me to come stay in the first place.

Where are the ghostbusters?

My exam timetable is out!!!!

And the best part, its actually, next week! Damn cool i tell you.

  • Chemistry : 17th August, 1320-1530hrs
  • Physics : 19th August, 1530-1740hrs
  • Pure Math : 20th August 1030-1240hrs
And i have english on wednesday and friday, therefore, no english paper. Oh how i wish there was an english paper. Getting it over and done with.
Saving money.

Thus, i packed my lunch, instead of eating out. Bloody expensive.

Spaghetti with ikea meatballs, wasn't half bad i reckon. Would have been great had i remembered to add in the bacon. No matter, although there was a super long queue at the microwave machines. Its better than spending 10 bucks on a meal, and then spending some more money on snacks. Now, i save on lunch and can spend more money on snacks!

Nah, less snacks too, so i can regain some fitness. Gonna start running soon. When spring first peeks over the horizon, and when i can afford some running shoes. Soon. Coming soon.

A fruitful day it was. Truly fruitful, since we got quite a lot of things packed into one day.

We caught "The Ugly Truth" and i liked it, thought it was good, girlfriend says it was so-so. But i think this is finally it, a romance flick for the guys. It ain't even half bad. Or maybe i'm turning into a girl. Whichever it is, go catch it, if it was worth my 10 bucks, its worth your $6.

And then we went shopping, at a shopping district called, Bridge Road. I got a pair of Onitsuka Tiger shoes for $70, and the girlfriend got a top for $5. And some random things like stuff from bodyshop which were on discount. But that doesn't matter.

Next, we got salmon sashimi from the fish shop at Victoria Gardens Shopping Center. It was pretty cheap i reckon, and the fish was fresh! You get a chunk from the shop, they will remove the skin and you can take it home to slice yourself.

We had pork chops, Henry style. Some vegetable dish made out of whatever jasmine could find in her fridge and our enoki mushrooms. And the sashimi. Obviously, we had our dinner at jasmine's.

Then for supper, or rather, dessert. We went to Stokers, this pancake cafe somewhere in the suburb called Ivanhoe. Its outerspace-y from my place. We actually had the pancake 2 weeks ago as well, but it was so good. Its not the usual hotel type of continental breakfast or the macdee's hotcakes type of pancakes. Its more akin to those crepes that they use to wrap stuff. Good shit.

And then, i'm at home, once again, i have no pictures because i've finally been convinced that the camera on my E63 sucks. No camera, no care. But i'm not gonna care because i won't lug a camera around wherever i go.

Over and out =D

I realised i haven't been blogging recently.

School has been getting busy lately, with homework and stuff to do. And also because we're starting to go to sleep earlier, like the australians do.

The garden is more or less settled, the grass has started growing, although there are bald patches due to the birds coming in and wiping of patches and patches of seed. The cherry tree i planted is growing and the blueberry plant has flowers. Hopefully there will be fruit.

The strawberries has gotten pretty big, thanks to the relatively warmer temperatures, and that crimson seedless vine has also begun to stir.

With more water and stuff, the plants should grow vibrantly. We have lots of water stored for the summer. Can't say we're prepared though.

Today we bought a GPS, the Tomtom One 140. Alerts us when there's a speed camera coming up, so i get to drive with less worries. Pretty cool.

Weekends are pretty boring, movies are expensive and there really isn't much to do. But that's a good thing rather than a bad one. We spend less on petrol. $60 a fortnight compared to $60 a week in singapore. It helps that the fuel here is cheaper too. At $1.15/L.

We also bought a sandwich maker. Toasted bread with melted cheese sounds so good. I like.

But australia is really quite a slow place. Nothing is fast here, not the trains, not the internet, not the service, and you're definitely not allowed to drive quickly too, lest the government loses some revenue from fines.

Internet here is a bitch, partly because its expensive, and you get a limit on your bandwidth. Seriously. You get limited on both your upstream and downstream. I've never heard of shit like that happening anywhere else but the 3rd world countries. Even india has 10mbps unlimited for cheap.

And i'm done complaining, because i wanna sleep.
